My wife, Sepe and I, would like to thank you for visiting Kosrae Kona Fellowship website. We would like to personally invite you to worship with us.

We truly believe that God is doing something extraordinary through our church and would like you to be a part of it. Please do prayerfully consider our church. Our aspiration is to take the message of hope beyond the four corners of the Church, as mandated by our Lord in Matthew 28: 19-20:
'“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo and behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

The Mission

 

The mission of Kosrae Kona Fellowship is no different from the Great Commission of Jesus, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:19-20).

As citizens of Heaven, we are commissioned to go out into the nations, find what was lost that was captured by the thief, and recover it. The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10) while Jesus came so that we may have life and have it abundantly. That is why, as representatives of Jesus, we are here to bring that life that God had originally planned from the garden of Eden, back into the nations. That is what was lost: the intimate relationship between God and man.

As representatives of Jesus, we are to go out and recover that intimate relationship between God and man by leading people to God where they will find that He has always intended to have an eternal relationship with everyone of us regardless of how deep we have been in sin.

Kosrae Kona Fellowship has made it its mission to, first, help the people of Kosrae who are in Kona to come to realization that God truly wants to have an intimate relationship with each and every one of us for all of eternity. Secondly, KKF intends to equip the members, mainly the youth, with the help from partners such as University of the Nations (Youth With A Mission) by sharpening the youth to be able to go out into the nations to carry out the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. Thirdly, KKF is here to continually share the Heart of God with the entire community of Kona to advance the Kingdom of God and to transform the societies we are living in today.

  • No, you don’t need to have one. However, you may find a Bible app online that you could use on your phone if you want. And most times, our media ministry will display verses shared throughout the service on a projector that everyone can see and sometimes, engage in reading out loud together when asked for.

    Old Hualalai Theater

    75-171 Hualalai Rd, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740

    Once you get to the front of the old theater building, you may park anywhere in the parking lot area. We usually have open stalls available!

    Instead of going through the front side of building, you make your way to the left side of the building (facing gas station on opposite side of main road). Enter through the double-sided doors and there will be greeters (from this fellowship) inside the hallway. They will direct you to where you should go. And in case you don’t see anyone, you may go to restaurant side of theater for help.

  • Good news, there are no rules! You may come dressed however you feel most comfortable and you will still fit right in. You can wear jeans, shorts, jackets, flip-flops or even dress up in a business suit… whatever makes you feel comfortable. We also run the a.c. throughout the service if it also helps.

  • Yes. Anyone and everyone is welcomed to join us for worship! God created everyone to His liking. He loves His creations and we are His creations so He wants everyone to hear His words and be saved by it! Even homeless individuals are welcomed!
